Technical Specifications

  • Adjustable "C" arm configuration with an adjustable 12" to 24" access and a 15" throat dimension.
  • Computer  based control module and a 10 meter interconnect cable.
  • Operating range is 20 to 75 kV, adjustable in 1 kV increments and 10 to 300 microAmp increments.
  • The micron focus x-ray tube has a spot size of 100 microns.
  • A diode laser pointer is provided for determination of x-ray beam location.
  • The "X-RAY ON" alarm system is both a visual pulsed light and an pulsed audible alarm located on the "C" arm and the control console for safety. There are two buttons, of which the first activates the high frequency HV power supply to the armed state if all interlocks are ready, the second is the "X-RAY ON" button which when depressed allows x-rays to be generate and stops x-rays when released which also freeze frames the last image
  • A 6" LCD flat display is provided, which is compatible with RS-170 and international standards. The system resolution is 5 lp/mm with a 4" or 100mm field of view. A digital image processor is utilized to improve image quality.
  • A belt battery pack is provided which is rechargeable (2 hrs.) and field replaceable.
  • Weight of the "C" arm is less than 14 lbs. The power requirements are 110V or 230V for international applications or battery (as provided).
  • System durability is enhanced by rugged construction for which L&W Research, Inc. has received worldwide recognition for excellence. The system can operate in extreme climates either sub-zero or desert thermal conditions.
  • Options: 8 mm portable video recorder, thermal printer, high resolution 13" monitor.
