Founded in 1987, L&W Research, Inc. initially functioned within the Yale University Small Business Incubator Program. It has been the recipient of several entrepreneurial x-ray system development projects through the small business innovative research grant program. As a company, we develop specialized x-ray sources for advanced inspection techniques. L&W Research, Inc. manufacturers a broad energy range of specialized precision X-ray systems and electron beam systems. All of our products are manufactured at our corporate headquarters located in Wallingford, CT. Our facilities include design engineering, manufacturing, and a complete shielded testing areas. Applications utilizing L&W Research, Inc. systems include NASA projects, US Air Force, domestic and overseas inspection companies, food processing companies, and composite curing for automotive engineering.
