MICRONFOCUS 250

The Micronfocus (tm) 250 is a fine focus X-ray generator capable of operating at up to 250 kV single ended. This generator is designed to have longer life and be more stable than existing units. The tube uses an advanced cathode design to give improved beam dynamics and stability. The tube vacuum system is improved to give the best life and reliability. The high voltage generator is high frequency unit built to provide operating life stability and repeatability. The high voltage cable uses a proprietary connector capable of operating at this high energy. The whole system has been designed to improve operating life and reliability.
Operation is designed to be as simple as possible. Focus and beam steering functions are automatic as the KV is varied. The focal spot size is adjustable down to 5 microns.
